Are you interested in Ecotherapy? Are you curious about how you could help your clients connect more with nature for their wellbeing and the wellbeing of the planet? Are you interested to learn about the growing body of research in Ecotherapy and ecologically informed practice?

Then look no further and take a road less travelled with me, Joanne Hanrahan. I have been practicing, researching, delivering talks and workshops in Ecotherapy for over a decade now.

I have three workshops for you to choose from over the coming months one is live Online in January and Two In-Person Outdoor offerings in February and April.


Course Details: Online Ecotherapy CPD Training

 

When:         Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of June Time:                   08:30am – 2:30pm

Cost:           Price: €400 (15 Hours CPD)

Where:        Delivered Online Via Zoom with Live Experiential Exercises Outdoors at participants’ gardens or local outdoor space.

Places:        Max Number of Participants is 8

This unique workshop will provide theory, practical tips, and time to reflect on your own ecological mindset and relationship with the natural world. It will also provide you with many tools to begin to develop and imagine your own Ecotherapy practice, whether that is indoors/online or working outdoors with individuals or groups. It will be held fully online but will be very interactive and include group discussion, breakout rooms, and nature-based exercises in participants’ own gardens.

Course Structure:

  •  This unique course is developed to allow participants to engage in a very interesting and blended learning experience.
  • It is designed as a highly interactive small group training which will include periods of outdoor time.
  • Participants will engage with natural environments local to them during the course – this may be a garden, local park, country road etc.

This workshop has now been run several times over the last four years and always receives great feedback.

Course Details: In-Person Outdoor Ecotherapy CPD Training

Start your Spring with an amazing 17 hours CPD like no other! Come to Co Clare for a weekend that promises to be personally rejuvenating as well as professionally inspiring!

This unique workshop will provide theory, practical tips, and time to reflect on your own ecological mindset and relationship with the natural world. It will also provide you with many tools to begin to develop and imagine your own Ecotherapy practice, whether that is indoors or working outdoors with individuals or groups.

This promises to be a truly nourishing and growth-full experience for you both personally and professionally.

When:         Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of April

Time:           Day 1 10.30am-6pm including tea/coffee/scones debrief on arrival, Day 2 10am-5pm, Day 3 9.30am-2pm including lunch

Cost:           Price: €400 (17 Hours CPD)

Where:        Based in The Glen in the grounds of The Falls Hotel in Ennistymon

and at Joanne’s therapy room and garden in Liscannor in Co Clare.

Course Details: One Day In-Person Outdoor Self Care, Nature Connection & Nervous System Regulation

Maybe, right now self-care and deepening your relationship with the rest of Nature and is what is your calling. I am also holding space for just that!

When:         Saturday 28th of February.

Time:           9.30am to 5pm Including tea/coffee and scones on arrival Cost: Price: €150 (6 Hours CPD)

Joanne Hanrahan Bio

Joanne Hanrahan is an IAHIP accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor in private practice in Co Clare. She is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) so works through a trauma informed lens and very much includes the body and movement in her practice. Joanne is passionate about including place in her approach to therapy and completed her MSc thesis on the topic of psychotherapy and the natural world. She has delivered numerous workshops, and written about, ecotherapy, eco-supervision and bringing  an  ecological  lens  to  practice.  More  details  can  be  found on www.joannehanrahan.ie
