Study On Mental Health Providers’ Perspectives on the Sexual Exploitation of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities

Seeking: Accredited mental health professionals who provide direct mental health services in Ireland. Participants must be in good standing with their accrediting body.

Purpose: We are exploring the experiences and perspectives of mental health professionals regarding the sexual exploitation of individuals with intellectual disabilities. We are also interested in your training and professional experiences.

Why Participate: Your insights can help improve mental health training and services across Ireland, enhancing support for victims of sexual exploitation with intellectual disabilities.

Who Can Participate: Accredited mental health professionals currently practicing in Ireland. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is not required.

Participation Details:

• One-on-one interview (approx. 30-60 minutes)

• Interviews will be scheduled based on participant availability

• Fully voluntary and confidential
