Psychotherapy and Climate Change: does it matter?

This survey explores what psychotherapists in the IAHIP think about climate change and if they see it being relevant to their work.

About Imogen O'Connor: I am an accredited IAHIP psychotherapist and supervisor undertaking a Masters in Ecology and Spirituality through the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David. I am particularly interested in how our personal and our professional beliefs as psychotherapists shape our relationship with our environment and how we engage with climate breakdown, both personally and professionally. The research employs both questionnaires and interviews and will be conducted using a mindful approach which invites a potentially deeper experience for you and richer data for the study.

I am inviting you to participate in the first part of the research by completing a questionnaire. This should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. I hope that you will find the activity of engaging with the questionnaire thought provoking and that this research will add something to our body of knowledge in this area of study in the Irish context within IAHIP. Please click on the link below which will direct you to the questionnaire.

Thank you.
