It is hard to get men to talk about themselves! That’s a very familiar comment. Mastery and predation arc hallmarks of classical male training so it makes a kind of sense that men do not reveal their softness or vulnerability.

We have been very lucky to get some men to talk about the work they have done with themselves or with other men. The range of offerings in this issue is broad and only touches the surface of the many dimensions of masculinity, however, we hope articles here will encourage you to think about the issues concerning men in therapy and perhaps you may be encouraged to write your own reactions or comments. We would like to have them.

May we remind you the next issue (Winter 1993) is on Bodywork in Psychotherapy, followed by Addiction (Spring 1994). Thank you for your continued support of the Journal.
