Obituary – Emma Foy: 14th April 2005

It was with deep sorrow and regret that we learned of the death of Emma Foy on April 14 05. Emma had been very ill for a number of months yet her death came as a great shock to us all.   Emma was involved in Psychotherapy in Ireland since 1992. She was a member of I.A.H.I.P. Emma was a Gestalt and humanistic Psychotherapist who was also heavily influenced in her work by the teachings of Carl Jung.  Emma will be greatly missed by her colleagues and her many friends both inside and outside the therapeutic community. Her contribution to psychotherapy in Ireland will be long remembered. Emma was a good friend and a wonderful colleague.  May she, rest in peace.

Ruth Kearney is a Jungian Psychotherapist who was a friend and colleague of Emma for many years.
