Do you work with suicide bereavement?
If so, would you like to take part in a research study which will explore your views and experiences on this important work area?
Research Study: An exploration of counsellors/psychotherapists views and experiences of working with suicide bereavement
Why do this study?
To date, research has focused mainly on the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and the client experience of therapy, while there is a dearth in the literature on the therapist experience. Therefore, this study may inform practice with this client group and highlight your needs in this work.
Who can participate?
Accredited counsellors/psychotherapists who have at least 6 months experience working therapeutically with suicide bereaved clients.
What will be involved?
You will be invited to take part in a one-to-one interview with the researcher that will last approximately 1 hour at a date and venue of your convenience or virtually via my secure DCU Zoom account, whichever you prefer.
