MSc Loss & Bereavement (Counselling) (Level 9)

Applications are invited for:
- MSc Loss & Bereavement (Counselling): from qualified, accredited psychotherapists and counsellors
This programme is designed for professionals in the counselling/psychotherapy community and aims to develop clinical practice in bereavement care. It is rooted in contemporary scientific research about loss and bereavement as well as being designed against a policy and professional regulation backdrop. The counselling stream is a specific pathway through the existing MSc Loss & Bereavement programme.
This part-time course is over two years and runs from September to June. Year One classes are held once a month on Thursday, Friday & Saturday at the Irish Hospice Foundation.
Applicants must possess counselling/psychotherapy accreditation through a national body and a Level 8 degree in relevant area (or equivalent as demonstrated through RPL).
