It has been 40 years since Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC) began its work supporting survivors of sexual violence. To mark the occasion, we will be hosting a one-day conference in Dublin on the 7th of November 2019. The conference will cover various historic and contemporary issues in the area from a wide range of perspectives. It is aimed at activists, policy makers, survivors and the general public, and our goal is that it will allow us to reflect on and develop strategies to combat sexual violence in Irish society.
Conference title: Sexual Violence in Ireland: Past, Present and Future
Date and time: 9:00 am-4:30 pm, 7th November 2019
Venue: Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2 (Google maps)
