About me
I am a psychotherapist with post-graduate qualification. I hold an MA and Higher Diploma in psychotherapy along with a BA in Social Science. I am a fully accredited member of IAHIP. and adheres to their professional guidelines.
I works with individuals aged 18+. Accredited by RNIB for providing therapy for clients facing sightloss issues.
My approach to therapy is a humanistic and integrative model (a combination of Psychoanalytic, client-centred, existential, gestalt, family systems, mindfulness, body-oriented approaches, etc). The techniques I use are informed and guided organically by the emerging needs of the client. My aim in therapy is to enable clients to be free from the psychological barriers that prevent them from experiencing, involving, and investing in their life. Identifying strengths, enhancing value systems, improving self-awareness, and enabling communication skills are all integral parts of this therapeutic journey.

My work experience has provided me with opportunities to work with various emotional dis-regulation. Some of the manifestations could be excessive anxiety/stress, anger, constant low moods, low self-esteem, etc to name a few. I have also had experience in working with various manifestations of trauma like undue fear, irritation, agitation, panic attacks, impaired individual / social functions, sleep disorders, fatigue, disassociation, etc. Other areas I have dealt with are attachment issues, relationship issues, obsessive-compulsive habits, loss/grief and bereavement.
