Supervision ACCREDITATION
First Time

To achieve IAHIP Accredited Supervisor status, candidates must fulfil several prerequisites.

They need to hold accreditation as an IAHIP member, a five-year track record in supervised psychotherapeutic practice post-accreditation, and sustain a psychotherapy practice rooted in humanistic and integrative approaches.

Furthermore, candidates are required to demonstrate a minimum of 1200 hours of post-accreditation psychotherapy work and successfully complete a supervision training course aligned with IAHIP's criteria.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience providing supervision, totalling a minimum of 50 hours, with a minimum of 12 hours in one-on-one supervision with the same individual.

Currently, supervising a minimum of two individual supervisees is also mandatory.

Additionally, candidates must submit a comprehensive Supervisor’s Report affirming the quality and quantity of their supervisory work and confirming their ongoing psychotherapy practice.

Lastly, evidence of appropriate insurance coverage for both psychotherapy and supervision work is a crucial requirement.
