Events Terms and Conditions Policy

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern your participation in or attendance at any event organized by The Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). By participating in or attending the event, you ("Participant") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1.0 Registration and Admission

1.1 Registration: Participants must register for the event through the designated registration process and provide accurate and complete information.

1.2 Admission: IAHIP reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission to the event to any Participant at its sole discretion.

2.0 Payment

2.1 Fees: All event fees must be paid in full before the Participant's admission to the event.

2.2 Refunds: Unless stated on the Event Registration page, refunds can be issued if the participant cancels within 72 hours of the event commencement. No refunds will be provided after the specified deadline.

3.0 Code of Conduct

3.1 Respect: Participants must treat all other attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff with respect and courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.

3.2 Compliance: Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the event.

4.0 Cancellation or Postponement

4.1 Cancellation: IAHIP reserves the right to cancel the event for any reason, in which case a full refund will be provided to registered Participants.

4.2 Postponement: In the event of postponement, registered Participants will have the option to attend the rescheduled event or receive a full refund.

5.0 Intellectual Property

5.1 Content: All event content, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and recordings, is the intellectual property of the Organizer or its content providers. Participants may not record or distribute such content without permission.

6.0 Photography and Videography

6.1 Consent: Participants agree to be photographed and filmed during the event. IAHIP may use these images and videos for promotional and marketing purposes.

7. Liability and Waiver

7.1 Limitation of Liability: IAHIP is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to Participants or their property during or travelling to the event.

7.2 Assumption of Risk: Participants assume all risk associated with attending the event.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1 Data Collection:  IAHIP may collect and process personal information as described in its Privacy Policy, which will be made available to Participants.

9.0 Changes to Terms

9.1 Amendments: The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the event indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

10.0 Termination

10.1 Termination:  IAHIP reserves the right to terminate a Participant's attendance if they breach these Terms or engage in any inappropriate behaviour during the event.

11.0 Governing Law

11.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

By participating in or attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, please do not participate in the event. IAHIP's decision on any matter related to the event shall be final.
