I have two workshops for you to choose from over the coming months one is live Online in June and the other is an In-Person offering in September.
Course Details: Online Ecotherapy CPD Training
When: Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of June
Time: 08:30am – 2:30pm
Cost: Price: €375 (15 Hours CPD)
Where: Delivered Online Via Zoom with Live Experiential Exercises Outdoors at participants’ gardens or local outdoor space.
Places: Max Number of Participants is 8
This unique workshop will provide theory, practical tips, and time to reflect on your own ecological mindset and relationship with the natural world. It will also provide you with many tools to begin to develop and imagine your own Ecotherapy practice, whether that is indoors/online or working outdoors with individuals or groups.It will be held fully online but will be very interactive and include group discussion, breakout rooms, and nature-based exercises in participants’ own gardens.
Course Structure:
- This unique course is developed to allow participants to engage in a very interesting and blended learning experience.
- It is designed as a highly interactive small group training which will include periods of outdoor time.
- Participants will engage with natural environments local to them during the course – this may be a garden, local park, country road etc.
This workshop has now been run several times over the last four years and always receives great feedback.

Or start your Autumn with an amazing 17 hours CPD like no other! Come to Co Clare for a weekend that promises to be personally rejuvenating as well as professionally inspiring!
This unique workshop will provide theory, practical tips, and time to reflect on your own ecological mindset and relationship with the natural world. It will also provide you with many tools to begin to develop and imagine your own Ecotherapy practice, whether that is indoors or working outdoors with individuals or groups.
This promises to be a truly nourishing and growth-full experience for you both personally and professionally.
When: Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of September
Time: Day 1 10.30am-6pm including tea/coffee/scones debrief on arrival, Day 2 10am-5pm, Day 3 9.30am-2pm including lunch
Cost: Price: €375 (17 Hours CPD)
Where: Based in The Glen in the grounds of The Falls Hotel in Ennistymon and at Joanne’s therapy room and garden in Liscannor in Co Clare.

Joanne Hanrahan Bio
Joanne Hanrahan is an IAHIP accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor in private practice in Co Clare. She is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) so works through a trauma informed lens and very much includes the body and movement in her practice. Joanne is passionate about including place in her approach to therapy and completed her MSc thesis on the topic of psychotherapy and the natural world.
