About me

I am an accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, with over 16 years’ experience working across social care and community-based settings.

I bring a broad and grounded understanding of mental health, emotional resilience and relational development to my work. My therapeutic approach is relational and psychodynamic, based on the belief that lasting change and meaningful healing emerge through a safe, attuned and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

I work from an integrative perspective grounded in humanistic psychotherapy and body-oriented approaches. With training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and mindfulness-based interventions, I bring a strong awareness of embodied experience to my trauma-informed practice. I recognise that our lives are communicated not only through our personal narratives, but also expressed through the body.
