About me
I am an experienced psychotherapist and clinical supervisor working across healthcare, academic, and private practice settings. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Gestalt psychotherapy with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can express themselves authentically - free from fear of shame, criticism or rejection. I trust deeply in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, which I see as a collaborative, trusting partnership that supports individuals in navigating a wide range of emotional, psychological and relational challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, grief, relationship difficulties, negative self-talk, anger issues, and low self-esteem, among many others.
I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients, including those supported through organisations such as the Health Service Executive (HSE), Men Ending Domestic Violence (MEND), and the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS). I am committed to delivering professional, compassionate care and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach for those with complex needs.
In addition to my therapeutic work, I maintain a strong interest in clinical supervision and personal development. My training as a clinical supervisor and my ongoing study and involvement with the Ridhwan Foundation reflect my dedication to continually deepening my understanding of human development. I am also a registered member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP). Through my private practice, I continue to offer accessible and effective support for those seeking therapy or professional supervision.
