The Chronic Worrier and GAD
Join us for the third and final workshop in our Summer 2017 Series!
Research has indicated that psychotherapy is moving more and more toward an integrated approach and that;
“ethical guidelines for counsellors and psychologists appear to be headed in the direction of requiring therapists to know evidence-based research (what techniques actually work with what clients with what problems) if they are to exercise an appropriate standard of care for their clients.” (Jones-Smith, 2014.)
Following on from our very successful workshops on Treating Panic Attacks on Saturday 8th of July and Treating Depression on Saturday July 29th, this third and final workshop promises to be another stimulating and inspiring day. These CPD workshops will give you the confidence to enhance your existing counselling/psychotherapy practice and add to your skillset. They will teach you how to integrate cognitive behavioural therapy – ethically and effectively – into your core therapeutic approach.
