Gestalt Therapy Film & Discussion
with Robert W. Resnick, Ph.D.
Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles
Robert Resnick’s new Contemporary Gestalt Therapy film demonstrates the power of a non-interpretive, phenomenological and dialogic approach to psychotherapy.
Beginning with a short theory film grounded in existentialism, field theory, phenomenology, dialogue and self-regulation, emphasizing process, and awareness, Dr. Resnick will present both developmental and therapeutic models of the Gestalt Therapy Approach. This will be followed by two actual therapy sessions with real people, dealing with real issues with a real therapist and in real time.
This presentation welcomes both seasoned therapists interested in adding recent advances in contemporary Gestalt Therapy to their current knowledge and practice as well as therapists or students not really familiar with contemporary Gestalt Therapy.
Robert Resnick has been a Gestalt Therapist for 50 years and an international trainer for over 45 years. Trained (1965-1970) and personally certified by examination (1969) by Drs. Fritz Perls and Jim Simkin, he was chosen by Fritz Perls to introduce Gestalt Therapy to Europe to in 1969.
