Patrick views the relationship between the therapist and client and the uniqueness of each person and therapeutic journey as central. In supervising, he takes care to create a, safe, playful, imaginative space to support therapists in their work and development, enabling them to develop and deepen their unique style.
Following a career as a social worker, Patrick (Msc. Psych) trained as a psychotherapist at The Institute for Biodynamic Psychology, The Institute of Psychosynthesis, The European Institute of Organismic Psychotherapy and The School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He completed the training course in supervision at the British Association of Psychotherapists. He is an accredited psychotherapist and supervisor with The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and The Irish Forum for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (IFPP). He has worked as a psychotherapist for over thirty years and as a supervisor and trainer for over twenty five years.
