This Workshop is experiential in nature, addressing the needs of people who are suicidal and engaging in self-harm and those who respond to them. It will build confidence and assurance in responding to such issues.
This workshop is suitable for Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Psychologists, Social Care Workers, Teachers, Guidance Counsellors, and other Allied Professionals.

- Myths and Facts of Suicide and Self-Harm
- If someone tells you that they are suicidal, do you respond or react?
- Where does confidentiality start and end?
- Increased risk level for completed suicide and how to assess the level of risk.
- The relationship between Self-Harm and Suicide and the appropriate and inappropriate ways to respond to Self-Harm and Suicide
- The appropriate language to use when speaking about Self-Harm and Suicide
- Managing your own self-care

This workshop is experiential in nature, explores, and explains the diagnosis of Aspergers and the impact this can have on an individual and how they function in the world.
This workshop will be beneficial for therapists, teachers, social workers, guidance counsellors, and parents.

One-Day Workshop on Understanding Child & Adolescent Behaviours in Residential Care
The aim of the workshop is to focus on the challenging behaviours Children and Adolescents are struggling with and the impact these behaviours have on staff. This workshop is open to both agencies and individuals that may include House Managers, keyworkers, social workers, etc.
The day will explore how and why these challenges are manifested and will include a clearer understanding for participants in the following:
- The understanding of early childhood Trauma and the development of unhealthy coping mechanisms.
- Attachment, lack of attunement, trust, rejection leading to the sabotaging of relationships with the carer.
- An Understanding and how to respond to self-harm and suicide ideation.
- Rebuilding the relationship and empowering the adolescent.
- Identifying personal impact and creating awareness and self-care.
