Personal Data Retention

Personal data stored and collected by IAHIP is retained for no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

ACCREDITATION APPLICATION - REFUSED	5 Years from date of Refusal
ACCREDITATION APPLICATION - SUCCESSFUL	5 Years from date of Acceptance
RE-ACREDITATION	6 Months from date of (subsequent) reaccreditation. i.e., 5 years + 6 months
GARDA VETTING	6 months from the date when the purpose for which it was sought has expired
COMPLAINTS - UPHELD	5 Years from date Complaint is finalised
COMPLAINTS - NOT UPHELD	6 Months from date Complaint is finalised
SUBJECT ACCESS OR ERASURE REQUESTS	Summary document stored for 6 years.
DATA PROTECTION BREACHES	7 Years after date of breach. Summary document stored indefinitely.
HR - APPLICATION FOR INTERVIEWS & NOTES	6 Months after notification to unsuccessful candidates
Server data (cookies & website data)	5 Years

Once a document is scheduled for destruction, it will follow the IAHIP Data Destruction Policy.
