The Supervision Experience of Newly Qualified Therapists.

I am a fourth-year student undertaking an M.Sc. in Psychotherapy in Dublin City University and am currently conducting research as part of the course.

The title of my research is: Exploring the Lived Experience of Supervision for Newly Qualified Psychotherapists in Ireland: An Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis.

The study aims to gain insight into the experience of supervision for newly qualified psychotherapists in Ireland by exploring the themes that influence the supervision experience and gaining a greater knowledge of the influence of supervision on a therapist's professional development.

I am seeking participants who have a maximum of five years post-qualification experience and are currently in supervision. Participants do not need to have achieved full accreditation.

Participation would involve a one-hour, in-person or online interview.

If you would like any further information regarding the research or would like to participate, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at janet.keating32@mail.dcu.ie or by phone on 087 9977044.

The deadline for participation is the 30th of October, 2023.
