Integrative psychotherapists’ experience of client-initiated unplanned endings with long term clients; An Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis

I am seeking research participants who are fully accredited psychotherapists, and have experienced an unplanned client-initiated ending with a client they have worked with for 25+ sessions.

The research is being undertaken to explore psychotherapists' experience of this ending, inclusive of its professional and personal impact, to add to an under-researched area in clinical practice.

The research constitutes part of a Psychotherapy Master's degree from Dublin City University. Interviews can be held in person or via Zoom, taking approximately 60 minutes.
