SEEKING VOLUNTEERS INTERESTED IN PARTICAIPTING IN AN MSC RESEARCH PROJECT

I am an MSc student on the Psychotherapy programme at Dublin City University (DCU) and I’m undertaking a research study under the supervision of Dr. Ray O’Neill where I’m seeking volunteers to be interviewed.

This research intends to explore the perspectives and experiences of both C-suite/Senior Business Leaders and Senior Leaders in Human Resources, together with suppliers of embedded counselling skills and or related skills to the corporate sector. The aim of the study is to explore the potential role that embedded counselling skills (i.e., the use of counselling skills in occupations where counselling is not the main function of the role) could bring to strengthen leaders’ listening and atunement in support of employee wellbeing, and the implications for leadership development.

As a practicing Psychotherapist, you may or may not be involved in providing psychotherapeutic support to leaders responsible for employee wellbeing. Your input will be invaluable on providing insight on the extent and adequacy of embedded counselling skills in current leadership training and development programmes.

If you are interested in this study, your participation will be greatly appreciated.

If you have any queries about the research, you are welcome to contact me at yvonne.mcwey2@mail.dcu.ie.
