RESEARCH – THE EXPERIENCE OF MANDATORY PERSONAL THERAPY FOR STUDENT PSYCHOTHERAPISTS

27/09/2022 16:11 | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Are you a psychotherapy student, attending personal therapy as part of your educational curriculum?

Would you consider participating in a small research study, exploring the mandatory nature of personal therapy, from the perspective of the student practitioner?

The study is entitled ‘An exploration of the experience of mandatory personal therapy for trainee psychotherapists in Ireland’

The research will take place during the coming academic year as part of a MSc in Psychotherapy at Dublin City University.

If you are currently a student on an Irish third-level psychotherapy training course, that contains a mandatory requirement to attend personal therapy, you may be eligible for inclusion in this study. Participation will involve a confidential interview, in person or via a secure zoom videocall.

If you are interested in taking part or have any further questions, please contact Liz Clarke by email or telephone.
