This diploma course in working with trauma clients is a professional and specialist training which will guide you through a systematic process of working therapeutically with clients who have experienced trauma. The teaching is practice-based – founded on evidence of what approaches really work when treating trauma clients.
The tutor, Lucia Hall, is a leading practitioner and trainer in this field. So we believe that this course offers an unrivalled and systematic approach to understanding trauma and how to provide therapeutic support for survivors.
The programme adopts a biopsychosocial approach – which means that the course will cover neurology and mental processes in trauma, as well as psychotherapeutic treatment approaches, all within a sociological context.
