Post Qualifying Certificate in Biosynthesis Somatic Trauma & depth-psychology oriented Psychotherapy (One Year Training starting January 2020)

Are you working with complex trauma clients & struggling to understand how to include somatic interventions effectively in order to help your client build regulation & resilience?

In this one-year training Counsellors, Psychotherapists & Psychologists are supported to achieve deeper relational levels of competency in their work by engaging in Biosynthesis Structural Exercises and process work. Traditional Psychotherapy addresses the cognitive and emotional elements of trauma and early attachment issues but lacks somatic interventions that work directly with the physiological symptoms. Research shows that trauma and early attachment profoundly affects the body and that many symptoms of afflicted individuals are somatically driven.

This course presents you with a Theoretical and a Clinical Experiential model for the inclusion of the Body in Trauma work, specifically within a Biosynthesis Somatic Trauma perspective. The aim is to provide you with sufficient theoretical knowledge and experiential skill to facilitate the inclusion of a body awareness context within the therapeutic relationship. In this course, Senior International Trainers will help you to integrate the Polyvagal Theory along with recent neuroscientific research and Biosynthesis Somatic touch in order to affect healthy emotional and physical regulation.

This one-year training certificate is signed by the founder of Biosynthesis & International expert on human trauma & recovery, Dr. David Boadella & validated by the International Institute for Biosynthesis in Switzerland. Biosynthesis Psychotherapy has been scientifically recognised by the European Association for Psychotherapy since 1998.
