Integrating Evidence Based CBT Protocols into Your Practice – (1 Day CPD Workshops)

Integrating Evidence Based CBT Protocols into Your Practice – (1 Day CPD Workshops)

by Administrator / Monday, 17 September 2018 / Published in Ads for Training, Classifieds

“Treating Depression” and “The Chronic Worrier And GAD”

Two essential CPD Workshops on how best to Integrate brief CBT Protocols into your Psychotherapy for Depression and/or Anxiety.

Just 3 weeks to our first two titles in, the Autumn/Winter Series of skills-based workshops. These workshops have been designed to give you the confidence to enhance your existing counselling/psychotherapy practice with some specific – and evidence-based – cognitive behavioural interventions. We will show you exactly how to weave these interventions, in a timely and appropriate way, into your core therapeutic approach. And, crucially, each workshop includes a comprehensive take-away Resource Pack (offline and online) to support your on-going learning experience and confidence-building.

Why offer these two workshops as a package?
We know that depression and anxiety problems are, each of them, highly prevalent conditions.  And we also know that they frequently co-occur. Studies have shown that, where a person is affected by more than one of these two mood disorders, they tend to experience; greater distress and disruption, poorer quality of life, and poorer treatment outcomes!  These two particular workshops, presented on two consecutive days, will give you the confidence to treat depression and anxiety separately and/or (where the client is presenting with both) together.

Research has indicated that psychotherapy is moving more and more toward an integrated approach;
 “ethical guidelines for counsellors and psychologists appear to be headed in the direction of requiring therapists to know evidence-based research (what techniques actually work with what clients with what problems) if they are to exercise an appropriate standard of care for their clients.”                (Jones-Smith, 2014.)

Discount Offer

We are delighted to now offer a 10% Discount where these two Workshops are booked together!
