Clinical Coordinator
Organisation: The Life Centre is a not for profit educational facility working with and for young people aged 12-18 in Cork city and County. The Life Centre implements the SERVOL model which aims to engage all members in attitudinal and social change on personal, organisational and community levels.
It does so through respectful intervention in the lives of others and seeks to empower individuals and communities to develop as role models. Many of our young people have received national recognition for their contributions. The Life Centre’s therapeutic service engages with and works to support, these interventions in the lives of young people.
Role: The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the multidisciplinary therapeutic service provision.
Reporting to: The Director of The Life Centre
Requirements:
As a minimum:
An undergraduate degree in counselling or therapy which qualifies the graduate to work with under 16s.
A specific qualification in child and adolescent therapy is preferred
Over five years post qualification experience with young people at risk.
A Creative Arts Therapy qualification is a distinct advantage.
IAHIP accreditation, CORU eligibility
ASIST and Child protection certificates.
Interagency experience
Experience of working with self-harm and suicidal ideation.
Knowledge of CORU, GDPR and Children First requirements.
A supervision qualification is a distinct advantage.
