In order to apply for accreditation you will need to meet the standards laid down in Bye Law 10 Bye Law 10 (interim criteria for those who commenced psychotherapy training before January 1st 2009), or Bye Law 11 Bye Law 11 (for those who commenced training on or after January 1st 2009).
Application forms must be Spiral Bound and enclosures must follow the order of the check list.
All applications must be legible.
All relevant sections completed and, where necessary, supporting evidence supplied.
All ratios stated – when totals are requested in the form they must be completed.
Processing fee is €160.00, which you may pay here.
When we receive your application, you will get confirmation by return. After which, processing of the application may take three to six months to complete. We would ask for your patience with the Association in this regard.
When you have received the letter of an offer of accreditation from the Honorary Secretary of IAHIP informing you that your application has been successful, it will list the payment required to become a member.
If you are joining in the first half of a calendar year, and have no fees paid to IAHIP in that part of the year to date (normally a person joining from outside the organisation) then please pay the full €300 below.
If you are joining in the second half of a calendar year, and have no fees paid to IAHIP in that part of the year to date (again, normally a person joining from outside the organisation) then please pay €150.00 here.
If you are already a paid-up pre-accredited member, and become accredited in the first half of the calendar year, then please pay €200 here.
If you are already a paid-up pre-accredited member, and become accredited in the second half of the calendar year, then please pay €50 here.
