Re: Research Project: Call for Participants
Topic: An exploration of psychotherapists’ perceptions of the experiences of men who sustain female-perpetrated intimate partner violence.
I write to invite you to participate in a research study which seeks to explore psychotherapists’ perceptions of the experiences of men who sustain female-perpetrated intimate partner violence.
This research study is part of the requirements for an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at Turning Point Institute (TPI), validated and awarded by University College, Cork (UCC). It has been approved by the ethics committee of TPI.
To participate in this research study, you will need to be an accredited psychotherapist, and to have worked (or be working) with men who have experienced (or are experiencing) intimate partner violence from their female intimate partner (wife, girlfriend, partner).
If you fit these criteria and would like to take part in this research study, or wish to get more information or clarification, please contact me by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Participation will entail a one-to-one 60 minute interview with the researcher, at a location that suits you.
I thank you sincerely for taking the time to consider this invitation.
