ACCORD Dublin is the agency for Marriage and the Family of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin. It delivers marriage and relationship counselling, marriage education programmes and a schools based relationship and sexuality education programme throughout the Archdiocese.
ACCORD Dublin is now seeking to recruit a Director for Counselling and Supervision. Director of Counselling and Supervision (DIRCS14) Working with a large team of counsellors (part voluntary, part paid), the Director of Counselling and Supervision will ensure the delivery of a high quality, caring and professional marriage and relationship counselling service for couples and individuals. Successful applicants will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church and a commitment to the ethos and objectives of ACCORD. They will hold a relevant professional qualification and be currently active in the counselling profession. They will have previous general management experience with particular emphasis on interpersonal skills (leadership, support, motivation, negotiation). Efficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential. A working knowledge of PowerPoint desirable.
This is a part-time role of 25 hours per week (5 days a week), some evening and weekend work is required. The position is based at our offices in Harcourt Street.
