Are you interested in becoming a counsellor with Ireland’s leading provider of marriage and relationship counselling?
If you are warm, genuine, flexible, non judgmental and willing to support and work within the ethos, vision and mission of ACCORD, you are welcome to apply to ACCORD Dublin to be selected to train as a marriage and relationship counsellor.
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced counsellors wishing to train and work as Marriage and Relationship counsellors with ACCORD.
On successful completion of the training programme in Person Centred Couples Counselling and all associated requirements a Higher Certificate in Counselling, Marriage and Relationships, will be awarded by ACCORD.
Training and supervision costs for successful candidates will be funded by ACCORD Dublin. In return successful candidates will be required to fulfil a specific level of voluntary service on an annual basis for a minimum of three years. Over and above the annual voluntary service counsellors may claim remuneration for additional hours. Training will take place in Maynooth at weekends over one academic year from September 2015 to June 2016. The course will involve 2 weekends and 10 days.
On successful completion of the training programme, counsellors will be assigned to work in one of ACCORD Dublin’s Marriage and Relationship Counselling Centres.
